About
Ed Rackham is a web application developer – specialising in PHP and MySQL based apps. He lives in an over priced area of the UK, namely Torbay (South-West Devon). His main aim, through this site, is to provide useful snippets of code for all those developers that find themselves struggling to defeat the easiest of problems posed by clients and friends. Easiest you say? Yes. The hardest problems to solve (programmatically speaking) are usually the easiest tasks given to a programmer. The old ‘Give up and come back later’ method does work, but this site should help – hopefully.
Lately (in the past few years), Ed has pumped out some jQuery plugins, and has embarked on iPhone app development (Objective-C). His first app is currently awaiting approval!
Define: programmer
Wikipedia: A programmer or software developer is someone who programs computers, that is, one who writes computer software.
Ed: Someone who solves other peoples’ problems in order to make their lives easier. Not their own.
